Please read this policy to understand how we handle the data you entrust to us.

06

AI support and input processing

Inside the tools, AI may help formulate and structure answers. AI does not decide on your behalf. You review, edit and confirm the wording retained in the final result of the relevant tool.

Please do not enter:

  • unnecessary sensitive personal data;
  • confidential legal, financial or medical information;
  • personal identification numbers;
  • confidential information about third parties without permission.

Your inputs may be processed by AI service providers solely to provide the requested functionality, in accordance with this policy and the terms of those providers.

07

Legal basis for processing

Data is processed on the following legal bases:

  • your consent (for example, for optional communications and for analytics or marketing tracking where your consent is required for such processing);
  • performance of a contract or steps taken prior to entering into a contract (providing the tools, access and results);
  • legitimate interests (security, preventing abuse and improving the platform);
  • legal obligations (keeping financial and tax records and similar).
08

How long we retain data

We retain data only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, for enabling access and support, and to meet legal and financial obligations and protect legitimate interests. Once the purpose ends, we delete or anonymize the data, unless longer retention is required by law.

General retention approach:

  • accounts and result history: retained during active use and afterwards to the extent needed for access and support;
  • payment and tax-relevant data: retained in accordance with legally prescribed periods;
  • copies of communications: retained as long as needed to resolve inquiries and maintain records where justified;
  • data stored in the browser: retained only for the needed session or to resume work, in line with the purpose.
09

Who data may be shared with

To provide the service, we may share data with the following categories of processors:

  • hosting provider;
  • email service provider;
  • AI infrastructure provider;
  • analytics provider (Google, for Google Analytics 4), only with your consent for Analytics;
  • marketing measurement provider (Meta, for Meta Pixel), only with your consent for Marketing;
  • payment provider, such as Stripe;
  • PDF generation or export tools, where in use;
  • legal, accounting and technical collaborators, where necessary.

Processors process data on our behalf and in accordance with this policy and applicable regulations.

10

Transfers of data outside Serbia

Some of the listed providers may process data outside the territory of the Republic of Serbia. In such cases we apply appropriate safeguards, such as contractual obligations imposed on processors, standard contractual clauses or other measures recognized by applicable law, so that the level of protection of your data remains adequate.

11

Cookies and local browser storage

To operate the platform, we use technical browser storage that is necessary for certain tools to function:

  • Brand Clarity Check stores session data in browser session storage (sessionStorage) for the current window, only to manage the anonymous session and verify ownership. We do not store the content of your answers locally;
  • Target Audience Builder stores in browser local storage (localStorage) the technical data needed to find and resume your anonymous draft. The answers themselves are stored on the server, not locally;
  • when moving from Target Audience Builder to Brand Clarity Builder, your saved target-audience result may be stored in browser local storage (localStorage) so that, with your confirmation, you can transfer it into Module 02;
  • the login and platform infrastructure may use necessary technical browser storage required for authentication and app functionality.

This data is technically necessary for functionality and is not used for marketing tracking.

Optional technologies that are not necessary are grouped into two categories that you can enable or disable separately: Analytics and Marketing. Necessary technologies are always active to the extent required for the platform to work, and cannot be disabled if you want to use the relevant functionality. You can change your choice for the optional categories at any time through the “Privacy settings” option.

Under the Analytics category, Brand Clarity uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the website and platform are used and to improve the user experience. GA4 loads and runs only after you give consent for analytics tracking. If you decline the Analytics category, GA4 does not run, while everything else on the platform continues to work normally. You can change your Analytics choice later through the “Privacy settings” option. Google acts as the provider of that analytics technology, in accordance with its own terms of use and privacy policy.

Under the Marketing category, Brand Clarity uses Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and optimize those activities. Meta Pixel helps us understand the actions users take after marketing communications and ads. Meta Pixel loads and runs only after you give consent for marketing tracking. Declining the Marketing category does not prevent normal use of the platform. You can change or withdraw your Marketing choice later through the “Privacy settings” option. Meta acts as the provider of that marketing technology, in accordance with its own terms of use and privacy policy.

You can configure or disable cookies and local storage in your browser.

12

User rights

Regarding the processing of your data, you have the right to:

  • access your data;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • delete data;
  • restrict processing;
  • object to processing;
  • withdraw consent;
  • data portability, where applicable;
  • lodge a complaint with the competent authority.

You can exercise your rights by contacting us at office@brandclarity.click. If you believe that processing was unlawful, you can contact the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Protection of Personal Data.

13

Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data, in accordance with the type and risk of processing. However, no system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection of data during transmission or processing.

15

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated periodically to align with changes to the platform or regulations. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the document. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated text.
